Blast Wakeskate Mag

Recently the Texas Ski Ranch hosted the seventh annual FreezeRide to kick off the 2010 season. After a long off season, FreezeRide always launches the Tournament season at TSR and gets a little stoke back in the bones. This year riders from as far away as California, Minnesota and Florida joined the always-present group from Kansas City Watersports that are anxious for the start of their season. It was the slayshTank Team that showed up to compete on Saturday, placing in 7 of the top 10 spots for the Pro Wakeskate Divisions.  Grant Roberts from the Obscura team took 1st on cable. Oury Yarbrough kept it fresh by taking 1st in Pro Boat Division and 2nd on the Cables. Bret Little, David Roehm, Collin Gee, and Matt Davidson also made impressions for all those who showed up. The slayshTank Coalition also showed up, Ryan Light and Mike Shore shot video and stills. Richie works in environmental management, specifically in commercial recycling and alternative fuels. Richie's interests include skateboarding, music, and photography. Richie is also involved in developing slayshTank product lines and managing the wakeskate team. His current set up is an '03 GTX wake, an Integrity TNT, and Nike 6.0 Oncores.
